01 — Hardware

Ours. Down to the board.

Built around the Rockchip RK3588 — eight cores and an onboard NPU, silicon usually reserved for flagship tablets, not phones — paired with an RK806 PMIC for rail distribution. We didn't license a reference design and skin it. We drew our own schematic, laid out our own 6-layer, 147×77mm carrier board, and built the handset PCB from a blank sheet.

02 — Power

Waste heat isn't wasted.

A thin-film solar band hides beneath the tinted rear ceramic, feeding a dedicated MPPT controller. Underneath the SoC, a grid of thermal vias carries heat to a TEG module — turning what would normally just dissipate into a trickle charge. The battery itself sits in a tool-free removable tray, charged over a magnetic pogo-pin port with no port to wear out or let water in.

03 — Software

Android underneath. Nothing like it on top.

Veynor Solis runs on Android 14 — the apps, the ecosystem, the compatibility you already rely on. But the launcher is entirely ours: a custom Jetpack Compose UI, built from scratch, with its own Camera, Gallery, Messages, Calendar, Notes, Music, Clock, and Settings. The Thermal screen already reads your device's real battery temperature — the solar/TEG readout next to it is the working preview of what the hardware feeds it.

04 — Longevity

Buy it once. Upgrade it forever.

The board is modular by design. A new revision drops in, the shell stays — upgradable at any time, for as long as we keep building. Veynor Solis is built to outlast the spec sheet it shipped with.

There's no fixed ship date yet. This is early hardware, still in active development — we'd rather tell you honestly than promise a date we can't hit.
