Hardware, built
from a blank sheet.

We don't license reference designs and skin them. We draw our own schematics, lay out our own boards, and ship the results in the open — starting with a phone.

— Why We're Doing This

We got tired of hardware we couldn't open.

Every phone on the market today is glued shut, soldered together, and designed to be replaced the moment the battery degrades or a part fails. That's not a technical limitation — it's a choice manufacturers make, over and over, because a phone you can't repair is a phone you eventually have to buy again.

We think a phone should be repairable, a battery should be swappable, and waste heat shouldn't just disappear into a heatsink when it could be doing something useful. So instead of complaining about it, we started drawing our own schematics.

Veynor Solis is the result: a board we designed ourselves, a shell built around a tool-free battery tray instead of adhesive, and a power system that reclaims heat instead of just dumping it. It's not finished. We're building it in the open, in public, one revision at a time — and we'd rather ship something honest and a little late than something polished and hollow.
